The days are getting longer. I\u2019m hearing friendly new bird songs in the backyard. It is the month that holds the first day of Spring, and this year, Easter. Anticipation is in the air!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">For years, writers and poets have tried to capture the magic of being in a state of anticipation. In <\/span><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">The Little Prince<\/span><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">, Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry writes \u201cIf you come at four in the afternoon, I\u2019ll begin to be happy by three.\u201d<\/span> <span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Albert Camus told us that, \u201cwe need the sweet pain of anticipation to tell us we are really alive.\u201d Author Robin Hobb, in <\/span><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Renegade\u2019s Magic<\/span><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">, offers this insight, \u201canticipating pain was like enduring it twice. Why not anticipate pleasure instead?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><em><strong><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"><a href=\"https:\/\/search.clevnet.org\/client\/en_US\/andv-main\/search\/detailnonmodal\/ent:$002f$002fSD_ILS$002f0$002fSD_ILS:6617991\/one\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-9194\" src=\"https:\/\/www.andover.lib.oh.us\/live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/99107-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.andover.lib.oh.us\/live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/99107-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.andover.lib.oh.us\/live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/99107.jpg 316w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 100px) 100vw, 100px\" \/><\/a>A.A. Milne\u2019s Winnie the Pooh, says \u201ceating honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than you were\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Anticipating doesn\u2019t cost us anything, but when we indulge in it, our minds, imaginations, and spirits can soar. Enjoy the programs we\u2019ll offer to celebrate Women\u2019s History Month.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">And, have fun anticipating the upcoming, once-in-a-lifetime solar eclipse that will sweep across the nation \u2013 and Northeast Ohio \u2013 on Tuesday, April 9th. You won\u2019t want to miss it and we\u2019re planning a wonderful community event so you can enjoy this awe-some, awe-inspiring spectacle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">As we enter this first month of Spring, yes Spring!, my hope for you is that you can anticipate enjoying the small things in life. Mqy you be awes-struck by all that is beautiful. May you believe in \u2013 and anticipate \u2013 new beginnings.
