Andover Public Library has been an active, free community resource since Andover Mardi Club first decided the community needed a library in 1934. Its current building, with its renovations of 1984 and 1992, provides a flexible and welcoming space for our users and collections. Your gift to the Library provides materials your friends and neighbors can use and enjoy for years to come.
Our Mission is to provide for our community contemporary materials in a variety of formats, auxiliary support for educational skills, access to research materials and reference information, as well as activities and programming that will enhance and broaden the lives of our citizens. A gift to Andover Public Library can provide a continuing benefit to Andover and the surrounding community, including the entire Pymatuning Valley School District. Andover Public Library has received huge support from its patrons and Friends during the current economic downturn and we are so grateful for the extra help in providing materials to you. We provide direct free benefits to all individuals right here at home in our own community.
Library contributions can be of any amount and are welcome any time of the year. The income from unrestricted gifts is distributed at the discretion of the Library Board of Trustees. Most gifts go directly into books, DVDs, e-books, programs, audiobooks, games and other tangible items for children and families. Our Library materials are used over and over, sometime hundreds of times.
You can also contact the Board of Trustees for information about making Andover Public Library a gift from your estate. There are forms at the Circulation Desk you can use to request a call from a Board member.
You can also make a gift through our web site using PayPal. PayPal is the safest possible way to donate online, but you can also leave your change at our Circulation Desk, or use the Pledge Form to make an ongoing contribution. The Pledge Form is on this web site under Electronic Media at the left, or you can click on the link below:
You can open the form as a Word document.
